General Motors

If you or a loved one was seriously injured or killed while operating a General Motors vehicle that had been recalled for unintended ignition switch or key rotation, you may have a claim.  Members of the firm have been directly involved in handling claims where individuals were severely injured or killed while operating a General Motors car recalled for unintended ignition switch and unintended key rotation claims with no airbag deployment and significant front end impact.

Roundup

If you or a loved one have used Roundup weed killer for weed control, whether at home, work, commercial use or agricultural use, and you developed Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma you may have a claim.

IVC Filters

If you or a loved one has suffered an injury or death from an IVC filter you may have a claim.  IVC Filters are a medical device used during surgery for patients who are at risk of developing blood clots. The device is used to prevent clots from breaking up and traveling to the heart or lungs which can cause serious complications and even death.  IVC Filters, if left in place beyond the recommended time (29-54 days), can also cause serious complications. The FDA has recently issued a list of potential dangers

  • Filter Perforation
  • Filter Migration
  • Filter Fracture

Device Embolization (parts of the device becoming detached)

If you or a loved one used the prescription chemotherapy medication Taxotere to treat breast, lung, stomach, and head & neck cancer and you suffered permanent hair loss you may have a claim.  While hair loss is normal during the treatment of many cancers, suffering permanent hair loss from a prescription medication is not when there is safer alternative available.

What Our Clients Say

Kari was referred to me by a colleague to handle a workers’ compensation claim involving significant permanent injuries. Not only did she get us a complete recovery in the work comp system, she recommended and pursued a civil action against third parties due to the faulty equipment at issue. I have dealt with other work comp attorneys and do not know of anyone else who would have put nearly as much thought, hard work and dedication into our case.
