    • $3,000,000

      In 2004, members of the firm resolved a wrongful death claim in Indiana for $3,000,000 for a widow and her four children against a major retailer resulting from the operation of a forklift on a defective loading dock.

    • $9,000,000

      A 2005, members of the firm obtained a verdict in Jefferson County Circuit Court, Kohlfield v. Rock Hill Mechanical Corp.,involving a construction site fall resulting in spinal and brain injuries. The result was a  $9,000,000 unanimous jury verdict on a no-offer case from the insurance company, which, at the time, was the largest personal injury verdict in the history of Jefferson County, Missouri.

    • $1,500,000

      In 2005, members of the firm obtained a $1,500,000 settlement for a sexual assault and rape victim at Plaza Square Apartments in the City of St. Louis, N.R. v. Plaza Square Partners, LLC, et al., which at the time  was believed to be the largest reported settlement of a sexual assault case against an apartment complex in Missouri.

    • $4,100,000

      In 2006, members of the firm resolved the lawsuit of a young boy for $4,100,000 against a major automobile manufacturer for a defective seat which failed during a collision, causing the boy to suffer catastrophic brain damage.

    • $4,000,000

      Also in 2006, members of the firm resolved the wrongful death claim a woman resulting from the failure of an under ride bar on the back of a truck and trailer operated by a large food manufacturer for $4,000,000.

    • Confidential Settlement

      In 2007, members of the firm resolved the wrongful death claim for the operator of a large dump truck when he was killed after the left front tire on his steer axle failed. The tire had been in use less than one week. At the time of the collision, the dump truck was empty. This matter settled for a confidential amount.

    • $2,650,000

      In 2009, members of the firm resolved a forklift accident death case for a total of $2,650,000.

    • $1,100,000

      In 2010, members of the firm obtained a verdict in the case of Willett v. Harsco Corporation d/b/a Patent Construction Systems,a construction site accident involving defective scaffolding. The client suffered a back injury and obtained a $1,100,000 unanimous verdict in St. Clair County, Illinois Circuit Court on a no-offer case from the insurance company. This verdict, at the time, was one of the largest personal injury verdicts in St. Clair County, Illinois over the past ten years.

    • $1,250,000/Confidential Settlement

      In 2010, members of the firm obtained a $1,250,000 settlement against a drunk driver and obtained a confidential settlement against the bar owner on a dram shop claim for over-serving the drunk driver.

    • $22,500,000

      In 2010, members of the firm obtained $22,500,000 resolution of the claims of a mother and her newborn son, both of whom suffered catastrophic brain damage, resulting from an automobile collision in rural Missouri. This is believed to be the largest reported settlement in St. Louis County history.  Members of the firm were also then hired by the at-fault insurance company to obtain indemnification form the medical providers for the injuries sustained by the mother and newborn.  That case was tried with co-counsel to verdict.

    • $8,300,000

      In 2011, members of the firm successfully resolved a child’s bicycle crash resulting in a brain injury, Kramer v. Bax Engineering, et al.Our lawyers proved the crash was caused by a defectively constructed road. The insurance companies for the contractors which designed, built and maintained the road settled the case with the firm’s client’s family for $8,300,000. This settlement was, at the time, the largest personal injury settlement in St. Charles County, Missouri history.

    • $6,500,000

      In 2011, members of the firm resolved death claims involving consumer products in the States of Connecticut, Illinois, Arkansas and California for over $6,500,000.

    • Confidential Amount

      Also in 2011, members of the firm resolved a third party criminal act case for a confidential amount involving the shooting of a customer on the parking lot of a large retailer in Western Missouri.

    • $1,177,000

      In 2011, members of the firm obtained $1,177,000 for a family that sustained various injuries in a one car accident that occurred when the driver lost control and the vehicle overturned.

    • $3,450,000

      In 2012, members of the firm obtained a $3,450,000 settlement for three electric utility line workers who sustained electric shock injuries due to a defective wire stand. This settlement is the largest personal injury settlement in the rural Missouri county where the case was set to be tried.

    • $5,300,000

      Also in 2012, members of the firm resolved a claim involving a brain injured child in the State of Washington for $5,300,000.

    • $3,500,000

      In 2012, members of the firm resolved a claim for a brain injured child in Missouri for $3,500,000.

    • $2,900,000

      In 2012, members of the firm resolved a claim for a burn victim from a consumer product for $2,900,000.

    • $6,000,000

      In 2013, members of the firm successfully resolved injury and death claims involving consumer products including claims in Missouri, California, Arizona, Virginia and Ohio in excess of $6,000,000.

    • Confidential Settlement

      In 2014, members of the firm successfully resolved a sexual assault case for confidential amount.

    • $6,000,000

      Also in 2014, members of the firm successfully resolved injury and death claims involving consumer products including claims in Missouri, Montana, California, Arizona, Virginia and Ohio in excess of $6,000,000.

    • $4,750,000

      In 2015, members of the firm successfully resolved a consumer product case involving the brain injury of a 3 year old child for $4,750,000.

    • $4,000,000

      Also in 2015, members of the firm resolved over $4,000,000 in wrongful death claims in Georgia, California and Montana.

    • $2,000,000

      In 2016, members of the firm successfully resolved a wrongful death, third party criminal assault case in Missouri for $2,000,000.

    • $5,500,000

      In 2015, members of the firm resolved three consumer product cases against major manufacturers for over$5,500,000. 

    • $1,200,000

      In 2016, members of the firm obtained $1,200,000for the family of a man killed in a side by side/UTV rollover accident.

    • $20,000,000 

      Also in 2016, members of the firm resolved claims of several individuals which were injured by a defective consumer product for total amounts in excess of $20,000,000.

    • $2,000,000

      In 2017, members of the firm resolved the claims of a young child who suffered traumatic brain injuries confining her to wheelchair for the rest of her life, despite significant legal issues, for a confidential amount in excess of $2,000,000. 

    • $6,200,000

      In 2017, members of the firm represented the family of a man who was struck on a bridge and obtained a settlement over $6,200,000.
